Our local Methodist church group, Open the Book, visits the school once a month to act out a Bible story in a lively, engaging and age‑appropriate way. These worship sessions are warmly welcomed by pupils and staff and provide a valuable opportunity for children to explore Christian stories and values through drama and storytelling.

The worship supports pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development by encouraging reflection, thoughtful discussion and empathy. Children are invited to consider the messages within the stories and how these can be applied to their own lives and relationships in school and the wider community.
