The early motor skills required for letter formation begins in our Reception Class, where children are exposed to a range of play-based activities to boost their strength, control and coordination in preparation for writing.

Once children demonstrate that they are ready to write, the Little Wandle scheme is used to support letter formation, with the use of pneumonics and mantras, which help learning to 'stick'.
